I moved to
Chicago in 2000 because it seemed like a good idea at the
time. I root for the Chicago Blackhawks but have family who
played for the Red Wings. I love How I Met Your Mother and
watch ABC's World News every night. In my wallet I carry an
e-mail my mom wrote while I was exploring Egypt with a
friend. I make a mean lasagna and the best mojitos. Ever. I
like my job. No. I love my job. I love my family, friends
and sleeping in until noon.
I have met with the leaders of foreign countries, but I'm
most comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt while drinking beer
with my friends. I have no idea what a grande
mocha frappuccino is. International travel is my favorite
hobby, along with photography and lounging on my couch.
Only after I've consumed enough alcohol, can I shake it
like a Polaroid picture. My fiance wishes we danced more. I
love my fiance. Fall is my favorite season. The internet is
my vice and selfish people annoy me. I don't read many
books, although I wish I did. I enjoy cooking. I enjoy
silence, but music is a key part of my life. I wish I still
played the drums.
My hearing is
shot. I feel our time is short on earth. I like being there
for my friends and sometimes I just like being. I enjoy
stuffing the juke box with dollars and putting the bar in a
better mood. I don't care for the Beatles, but I appreciate
their contribution to music; and the world. I like learning
new things. I really like experiencing new things.
